Today before I was going to feed my tegu I took him out for about 30 minutes or more and really had our first chunk of outside the cage bonding. He seemed ok in my hand not squirminj licking only once in a while...i cleaned out some room for him in my bathroom and sat in there with him. i let him down he walked around for a whiel and then climbed me and stretched out on my leg. I pet him some off and on adn just let him hang out he got down adn woudl walk around come up to me again. I remebered reading that sometimes they like to go under your shirt and sit....not a good idea if you ar sitting indian style....he was in my shirt for like 0 minutes climbing about and i was scard to move i didntwant tos care himhe entered my lowere left and ended up on my right shoulder he tickled me a bunch in the process. finally got him out afte some careful manuevering. He also is a good hopper i found out. I ten put him bakc in hiscage and fed him hes basking now

that's good to hear. the bathroom is usually a good place to start. hopefully no way for her to escape and if she poops/pees on the tile you can easily clean it.
