I'm a fairly experienced herper and currently have two red-footed tortoises, a bearded dragon, and a sulcata tortoise (whom was abandoned in a local park before I found him and took him in).
Today, I stumbled across a slender glass lizard in a nasty predicament. It was trapped along a curb in a residential area that is filled with kids, dogs, cars, lawnmowers, and pesticides. I normally wouldn't consider keeping a wild herp as a pet, but this one was in a bad situation and has warmed right up to me.
I haven't yet decided whether to add this latest rescue to our happy little reptile menagerie. However, we spent a few hours together and the glass lizard is already quite hand tame. It's currently sleeping in a safe, warm, temporary set-up.
The thing is, I don't know anything about glass lizards. I would like to get a care sheet to find out whether keeping this one would be feasible, but I've had no success tracking one down. Can someone please point me to a care sheet, or another resource that can give me authoritative, detailed information on the proper care of this animal? The sooner the better. Thank you for your help!
