well I'm not sure about eucalyptus mulch but from my own work experience I will say that companys put out a lot of products that shouldnt be used! Like pine reptile bedding for example! Very bad to use! Not all, but many corporate companys are more interested in money than animal health! IF you dont want to use provent a mite then I would use an extremely mild dosage of Ivermectin (.2 mg per kg of body weight once a week) or iodine baths. Ultamatly I feel provent-a-mite is the safest, but thats your call. Iodine is an astryngant and it will dehydrate the animal, but if you mix the water/iodine solution to the consistancy of a dark tea, and soak the animal bi-daily for 5 weeks, that should do the trick! I dont reccomend these methodes over provent-a-mite, but they do work! Good luck!
