Need Help

ZeroX May 09, 2004 10:01 AM

Okay. I am new to the Herp world and I wanted to start looking for a lizard pet, but I can't decide which one to get! There are so many breeds it makes my head spin.

My parents want me to get something small and easy to care for. In other words, they don't want to have anything to do with it. They don't want something big, because they don't want it to eat me. *_*

Does anyone know of a kind of lizard that would be:

1. small
2. easy to care for
3. hardy
4. friendly

If you do please reply. I need all the help I can get!

I am not sure how large of a lizard you can have, but a bearded dragon seems to fit what you are looking for. The enjoy handling are very hard and can make great pets. I hope this helps.

Leopard gecko.

And it'll be cheaper to purchase and care for than a Bearded, although a bearded is a good lizard pet.

I agree Leopards seem to fit what you are looking for. They are small and easy to care for, plus they come in an unimaginable array of color morphs.
