sterilitel size question

rttlrvenom May 09, 2004 11:03 AM

i know this has been asked befroe but what size would be better for adults 15qt or 32qt.

looking at buying one or 2 of those plastic racks i keep seeing on the classifieds and wondering what size would be better for my corns.

also if anyone know where to get cheaper racks for corn snakes that would be helpful too, im not very good at building so making one is out of the question.

thanx

I don't think that 15qt could even fit an adult corn. If it did, they would not have any room whatsoever to move around. Therefore, if you must use plastic, go with 32qt. Also, they actually make 40qt sterilite containers now that provide a few extra inches all around. Just an FYI.

Building the racks yourself is the only way to do it affordably. All the racks I've ever seen are kinda high in price b/c of the time/quality work that goes into most of them.
You should check out the caging forum to see if anyone there is familiar with all the different rack brands.
