got eggs.

geckoman2003 May 09, 2004 04:57 PM

Last night my 3-toe laid 2 eggs. I hope they are good. she has been a loner for a year now. I know that females can store sperm for up to five years.
Does anyone have any recomendations on incubation. my reptile room stays about 80 during the day and 75 at night.

Hey, Thats a good temp for hatching them, maybe a steady temp would be better though. I would reccomend putting them in most vermiculite or spaghum moss and be sure not to turn them or shake them! Humidity needs to be 80% as well!

I wish I could get babies!

I have them in vermculite. I don't have an incubator. So constint temps are hard to come by. Last year I hatched out a musk turtle using the same method. So lets hope it works. If it does I'll have 2 babies to part with to good home in IL.
