Edible Flowers?

URO_sailor May 09, 2004 06:30 PM

OK....Well I am ready to start growing some flowers/plants for my Uros and other than the greens that I normally feed them what are some edible plants/flowers that I can grow? I know about dandelions and hibiscus, so what else is there? I'd appreciate any help.

Wow...I was just about to post the same thing. The only plants I have memorized are the dandelions and hibiscus but there's a list at deerfernfarms. If anyone replies with useful info, can you give the name of the uro too? Thanks.

Here's a "small" list of items that I put together over some time from posts here and some sites. Hope this helps.

Jim-

I couldn't get your site to load.

Brian-

Here's the ones I know of:
Nasturtiums, pansies, roses, clover, hollyhock mallow (not true hollyhock). Plus dandelions, cat's claws, and hibiscus like you said.
