Meet Popeye! I got him yesterday at the reptile show.
He's 6 months and gorgeous, if I do say so myself. Surprisingly VERY Tame for an aligator snapping turtle. He was a CB and frequently handled. He won my heart! It was one of my mother's day gifts. He has a cataract on the right eye. It appears that he is completely blind in that eye which is how he got his name. Turtles were my first love in the reptile world. I have 6 now.
