yes hell try to mate
my friends (very shame on them) took a young female (3 months or so i think) and put my big gex aab by her and he tried to mate with her, even when she was trying to get away he tried to mate with hwer
luckily they seperated her from him.
so keep em seperate otherwise youll get babies and if she isnt big enough she could die from egg production.

Well first off, they will need to be separated anyway for a month or two in quarantine to prevent the spread of disease. Do not keep a male and female leo together unless you are willing to deal with the possibility of breeding then and there. From the moments my leos met they have become "boyfriend and girlfriend" and I am now expecting some little hatchlings from the female's eggs.

Qaurantine them away from your leo for at least 60 days please. Seperate rooms if possible, wash your hands well or use alcohol gel sanitizer between cages. It sounds like a big precaution but loss of your leo is not a very nice thing. It should be made a standard practice to do so. Yea, they will mate if the female is receptive and ready. Then you will get some eggs. If your not ready for that step I would keep the males and females seperate.
