I know many of you don't know me. I was around last year a lot but work and school started so I've been off line for a while. Anyway I just had to share with some people that know how exciting it is to have your first and seconded planned clutch in the same evening. Mothers day no less. I was really beginning to question my husbandry and becoming very disillusioned because my females weren't laying when I noticed two of my females displanning behavior predictive of nesting. I never felt eggs until the last day. I ran to the store tonight to get everything I needed and by the time I got home one female had layed 18 eggs of which I suspect 10 to be good. I hurriedly fixed the laying bin for my second female and she is laying as we speak. So I've had one heck of a mothers day. I'm so happy!!
