open mouth breathing

brianz May 09, 2004 11:41 PM

My corn has gradually been breathing through her mouth more and more. But, there is no discharge, and her appetite is great. I don't hear a wheezing or clicking, but I can her breathing. Does this sound like an early respiratory infection?

Thanks,

Brian

My 4 year old male is open mouth breathing & "puffing" too - he's going to the vet Monday if that's any indication. I've come to expect him to get a resp infection every spring for some reason. Good luck with yours!
