Eggs, Eggs, And More Eggs...

Sasheena May 10, 2004 07:06 AM

Well all three of my corns have finally laid their eggs. Counts are all in:

1. Aphrodite, 8 days after shedding, laid 10 perfect eggs. She is het motley, and possibly a hypo (unknown without further test breedings). I expect 50% normals, and 50% normal striped motleys from this clutch.

2. Athena, 5 days after shedding, laid one slug, then 9 days after shedding, laid 6 viable eggs, 4 slugs, and one that was labeled slug but isn't shriveling up like the others, so might actually be viable!?! I expect all normal striped babies 100% het Anery.

3. Calypso, exactly 39 days after being introduced to Hermes, 9 days after shedding, laid 21 perfect viable eggs! I should get all normals het amel, unless Hermes is het amel, in which case I'll get 50% amel.

The picture shows the four snakes involved.... Hermes is the normal stripe, Athena the Anery Stripe, Calypso is the reverse okeetee, and Aphrodite the normal (Hypo?).
