$25 Infrared temperature gun's any good?

I'm thinking about getting one. are they the "laser" ones i hear about? are they worth it or should i get a better one?

tahnks for any info.

Yeah, I'm sure a $25 is decent. You don't need the laser to take temps. The laser only helps you "pinpoint" what surface the unit is reading. I TURN THE LASER OFF WHEN USING IT IN AND AROUND MY CAGE because I noticed the dragons would look up at the unit and I was afraid one would look right into the laser one day.

I do use the laser if I'm not sure I pointed it right at a surface and ONLY if the Dragons are in another part of the cage.

You'll notice a difference in temps if you already have digital sticker thermometers and you compare the readings to the infrared unit. I can help you make some important adjustments.
