The eggs need fresh air once or twice a week.
Snake eggs are highly resistant to damage from temperature changes. Just opening the incubator has no effect. Personal experience. Remember, most snakes (including corns) do not have maternal incubation so they take the temperature of their surroundings, which can vary quite a bit. Chicken eggs do have maternal incubation, and the hen must get food and water every day, so even chicken eggs cool off a bit every day without ill effect. Good luck.

That each time you open your container you let out the super moist air and dry out the substrate a bit. I am not a big incubator guy with corns and I don't see why corn snake breeders spend their money on them, but they do keep a good humidity level (so do my rubbermaid containers). But if you check them several time per day/week they will dry out faster. I will normally check my eggs once per week to ensure their humidity is good. Also try not to move the eggs, but if you have to it is important to keep the egg in the same position as it was. if you roll the egg over the yolk could cover the embryo and sufficate it.
Good Luck
