Reptile Odor.....Any Tricks or helpful hints?

arboreals May 10, 2004 11:38 AM

Is there anything I can do to get rid or reduce the odor that the reptiles cause? It's not exactly something that smells good. Anyways thanks in advance for your replies.

The best things to do are make sure your cages are plastic, melamine or something unabsorbant, and to clean the cages out frequently.

Good luck

Just open a cheap box of baking soda and hide it behind something in the cage. If you use carpet then "also" litely sprinkle some in the bottom of the cage as well.
Its completely harmless, regardless of what type critters your keeping.
