hatchlings you can house more in a 10 but 10g is a bare min for 1 leo gex that isnot a hatchling, if you want to house 2 together get a 20 gallong long

Yes, you can house them in there. But they would do better and wouldnt be so cramped in a 20 gallon.

i dont think that a pair of geckos feel cramped in a 10 gallon, but i do find it hard to fit all the junk in there. i can barely fit a humid hide, a water bowl, and a dry hide, let alone the other stuff you need.

They will feel less cramped in a 20 gallon though. I also found it hard to fit everything in. Ron Tremper houses many more though in a box just a little bigger.

although i admire Ron Tremper a lot, there is something bothersome to me about his housing. its not necassarily how he houses, but on his site he says each gecko needs 10"X10" of its own space. and his caging doesn't give them this. i still think he's a genius, i just thought thats a little hipocritical, i hope thats the right word.

I definantly wouldnt house my geckos the way he does. I have a lot of respect for him for what he has done for the leo "biz" but the way he houses his leos disgust me. I house 1 or 2 geckos in the amount that he is housing 6. It just doesnt seem right.

True, you will find though with alot of breeders that become large that the animals become stock more than loved ones it is kind of disturbing I agree, but life none the less. You would also find that alot of your breeders that have made large breakthroughs in color and morphs also have used ruthless culling of unsatisfactory animals. The industry level of all animals is quite disturbing sometimes.

So two would be pushing it. If you could somehow utilize the height of the tank as well as the floor space, you might be able to fit two small leos for a time though. I keep my two adult leos in a 20 gallon long tank and it is perfect for them.

1:1 leos...soon to be 1:5!!!

A 10 gallon can be used for two in a pinch. Once you get everything in the tank they need though it is way too cramped. I would go with a 15 or twenty long. Twenty preferably.
