possible inpaction and more

what can inpaction cause if it has been going on for 1 12 mounths or more.a pet store near me asked me to take in a beardie he thought has some nerological prob. when I got him home I soaked him and he drank like he had not seen water in a mounth and it looked like he was trying to poo but nothing came out.the owner said he thinks he is about 6 mounth old ( I think he must be more then that).other then what ive said his history is unknown

Take him to the vet ASAP. It may be impaction. Is he moving his hind legs? He may also have some sort of calcium defiency. I would talk to the pet store about covering some vet bills as you are taking this poor guy in out of the kindness of your heart. If his history is unknown, or even if it is, always best to get at least a fecal done to rule out parasites. In your case, I would bring a fecal and the beardie in for sure. Let us know how it goes.
