A quick question

MR_ANACONDA28 May 11, 2004 01:05 AM

What is the average size of a green at one year old?? reason is I need to know how soon to buy Matty'z big cage. I got him in a 24" vision now and it fits him great. But it soon wont. I still cant get over how docile he is, he has out Sunday with me in the yard, wrapped around my neck with his head on my shoulders watching me plant my garden. We were outside for a few hours and he stay'd there and didnt even move realy. My neighbor even came over to talk and noticed i had a snake out, he thinks it looks like a anaconda, HMMMMM??? should I tell him that it is??lmao

my male green anacondas both grew to between 5 and 6 feet in their first year back when i kept them if course this was 6 years ago as well and i didnt have a lot of information on anacondas at the time so you might need better feedback from one of the guys who has kept condas more recently im still researching myself i have the temps and humidity levels figured out and the water figured out im getting my female green in sometime today will post pics as soon as i get her she is a 2 foot baby but im building a 10 foot enclosure for her within a months time so she should have plenty of room to grow as big as she wants in that
