I've never heard of Crested Geckos getting mouthrot, but I guess it could be. I would be inclined to think that it's actually an injury that got infected, but since I don't know the history of the animal, that's just speculation.
Bottom line, if it's mouth is caved in and red, I'd be willing to bet that the gecko needs to be treated with antibiotics, so taking it to a vet is your only option.
