Whenever i go into this petsmart to buy crickets I always see this BTS for $199.99. I rip off i might add. But the last couple days i saw him he was making jerking movements with his head like he was slowly choking or hiccuping. I figured that he had a piece of the reptile bark bedding enlodged somewhere in his body. I showed the store manager and she said she was going to send it to the vet. Also, from what i heard, BTS's were quite tame and make great handling pets. This one hissed and snapped at you if you even looked in his tank. The BTS was snapping and hissing at the store manager like a maniac.

I hope i did the right thing, and i hope the BTS will be ok. I'd buy it, but not for 200 bucks.

I dont think that it is your responsbility to rescue over priced animals from neglectful petstores. Trust me. I have made many rescues. I worked at petco for years (I did it for the animals.. i dont work there any more tho) and i rescued as many as i could. Luckily, i rescued many for free of for cheap. It is not your fault that the bts was messed up. You brought it to the owners attention and we can only hope that he did the right thing. You should be comended for that much.
