I have green stuff growing on the bottom 'connectors' of my tank for the undergravel filter and on the powerhead attached to the the filter. I have a 60 gallon aquarium so it takes 2 undergravel filters to keep the whole tank clean, and the algae is only on 1 side. I was thinking that my powerhead might not be working or my the filter on the bottom could be jammed up. Any suggestions as to how to go about fixing this problem?

Thats a good question. Is your aquarium in direct sunlight? I'm not sure what to do except maybe get something thats supposed to treat and prevent algae from growing. Sorry I don't know much more.
