1yr is the youngest but 18 months is better. size is also important, small females (250 gr. or less) really shouldnt be bred at all.its to hard for them to keep wieght on.

I agree 100% with heathmountain. The reason why I consider age important, in contrary to azteclizard, is because I want to be sure that the beardie is fully grown. You don't want to breed a growing beardie, because she'll need all the calcium and protein herself, to grow properly. An 18 months old female should be fully grown, and if she's big enough and 100% healthy, there should be minimal risk breeding her.
I don't really consider age when deciding when to breed. I would wait until she is at least 300 grams, closer to 350 would be better. This is just what I do and you will find several different opinions on the subject.
good luck
