Sorry but I just wanted to share the masterpiece! I had some free time and it was rongo and phoebes lunch time so I decided to make something special. Does anyone fancy up their uro salads?

It looks delicious!! I do better some days than others, depending on what's in the fridge. I try to have at least two kinds of greens minimum (usually 3, sometimes 4), plus squash and veggies, and at least one item of color - flowers, fruit, etc. I can't stand serving just a green salad!!

Great looking stuff. My salad pictured had turnip greens, shredded carrots, shredded yellow squash, chopped mustard greens, chopped dandelion greens, chopped green beans, sprouted beans, baby green peas, corn kernels, topped with two hibiscus flowers and lots of love in the middle!

It's such a bummer - I can't find turnip greens around here to save my life. ONE TIME last fall, I found them and bought them immediately. They never had them again. Even the turnips have the tops chopped off. Sigh...

Aw poor el toro. Have you ever looked for turnip....seeds? I have no vegetable garden intelligence at all. Anyways growing 'em could be fun. I can't wait til my uros settle. I love buying the weird veggies in the corner of the store. Once I found this melon thing with spikes all over it. It was like a cantelope cactus from hell. It tasted just like green tea too. Um....I've gone off track.......nib high swim team RULES!!!

I'm kinda glad to know I'm not the only one who sometimes takes a look at my uro salads, and thinks: Wow! This is too pretty to eat, and looks just delicious!

strange but fun SALAD BEHAVIOR, :0) I have to make atleast 8 bowls a day for different lizards I have.

And I find, making them look real pretty, is kinda cool !

I took a pic, of all 8 with beautiful big yellow lilies on top !

Hubby wondered why ours never look so good! LMAO
