Please help me figure out what kind of frog/toad Homer is

discofrog88 Jun 16, 2003 07:08 PM

Hi, I have a toad named Homer, and I am trying to figure out what kind of toad he is. I was told by the pet store that he is an African Bouncing Toad, but when I went to the reptile store, they weren't sure that he was an ABT. I would like some help finding out what type of toad he is, b/c I want to make sure that his habitat is set up correctly and that Homer will be happy. If you can help, please let me know what kind of toad Homer is.

Thanks

Kathryn

I don't know if there are other species that look similar to this one, but it looks like bufo mauritanicus. Check out this link, it has some really good pictures of this toad, of course the site is in french though. It also has care instructions, also in french, under the link "fiche technique detaillee". Maybe try babelfish.
