It's hiding. Being in that position the snake feels something underneath and on top of it. It has the feeling of 'hiding' from you. I didn't see a hide box in there either. Get another water dish and cut a half circle on one edge and place it in its cage. I bet it'll spend most of its time in there.
It's nothing unusual. They only harm can be if it is stressed and cant find a good place to get out of your site for awhile. This can lead to it going off feed among other things.
Nice looking conda though.

funny thing is Arik she does have a hide box she just went behind the water bowl instead then i had to take the hide box out so i could take pics of her

the hidebox may be to big and roomy for her try pooting a towel in there or a bunch of papertowels

Then maybe the temp there is more to its liking. Have you checked the temp differences in the two spots? Other than that I'd just let it be. If it's bugging you, move the water dish away from the wall a little.

what i found with my yellow anaconda when i brought him home he smached himself like that between the water dish too then after about 3 days he came out and was sitting in the middle of the water tub stalking me it was so adorable so i figure give this female green a couple of days and she will be doing the same thing

Its simple, If the snake wedges itself into a small space it is going to feel more secure since nothing else can get in the space with it. Its a small snake it is a meal for a lot of animals if they can get at it.

Thank you dave..i was wondering if someone would bring out the obvious. If you provide more hiding of different size and temps, some with water bowls in them...you will find that the snake will not do that as much or if at all...mine does that too if change her tank around and there is no hiding with water in it...she goes in or out of the water and when she is out she can smash herself against the walls of the hiding box and the water bowl. It all makes sense
