how do you all offer water to your collareds? i have mine in a dish but i never see them drinking.

This is the same of mine. I had mine for awhile and never saw them drink. Maybe at night they drink or maybe from their food. I once put it on their nose but they seemed to not like it that much. (not in their nostrals)

well, i always leave some in there too and they never drink it. usually i put water in a parkay type thin plastic container with a couple holes poked in the bottom and i put that on top of the cage's cover and i let it drip onto their rock that they all sleep under. this way it collects in the cracks and they sometimes see it and drink it and it also makes the sand damp where they sleep, like it would be if they were in their burrow micro-climate in nature. whenever they want to peel, they will cake themselves in that sand and other times if they don't want to be moist, they will sleep on the side where it is not damp. sometimes i will mist them just to simulate rain or to cool off the tank on a really hot day, like last week when it was 101 out and even with most of the lamps turned off it was still hotter than 300 hades in there. well i hope this helped.

All of mine drink from a shallow (glazed) terracotta saucer.

But some people offer water from an eye dropper and some let ice cubes melt on the screen cover and drip down on a rock.

Or you can put a pinhole in a paper cup (bottom) and sit it also on the top screen and let it slow drip down on a rock, where they can lick it .
