Hi all,
Yesterday at Streamwood I bought a pair of Hypomelanistic adult corns that were mating at the show. They mated in the car, they mated when I transfered them from the shipping box to the cage and as far as I can tell they pretty mated all night. This morning I went to check on them and found a smear of blood on the newspaper. There was also a gelantinous blob in with the blood, I have a picture but the blob doesn't show well, it's the dark spot in the blood. Could someone tell me if this is normal? I have never seen this in any of the other snakes I bred so I'm thinking I should take them to the vet. I did look at the snakes and neither one has any blood on them and both act normal. Please look at the picture and let me know what you guys think. Thanks.
