is a .035 to large for neonates...that's the size i use for boas, but since brb's are so much thinner...your input will be appreciated.

thanks linda, i found that post...it's a tough one. i think a .024 is to small...i've used them on hatchling corns, but the .035 looks to have to much girth to probe a male.
and actually, the only babies i will have this year are argentine boas...anytime now. i lost my only male brb that was potentially breeding size last winter. now i'm left with 1.3 and the 1.0 is only about 9 months...but growing quickly. my little ones are just now to the size that i'm comfortable probing them...i've never really gotten the hang of popping...it really just fear that's standing in my way of that...
if you know anyone that has an extra adult male or even a sub-adult they would like to sell, i'm in the market.
