Hi, even though I have had my ball python (Python regius) for over 2 years I have only used this forum approximately 2 times. I am going to start using this forum a lot more now, because I am interested in purchasing a female ball python. Though some of you might know me from “The Gecko Forum” or http;//www.[bleep].

Anyways my question is how often will a well-fed ball python lay her eggs and how many?

BP's will lay one per year, and anywhere from 4-8 eggs, though clutches exceeding 8 are in no way unheard of.

And, lastly, when people want to name a site that's getting "bleeped," people usually just put spaces between the letters, ie: k i n g s n a k e . c o m

Most females will lay yearly when fed heavily.

Most females do not produce until after 3 years of age.

An overall average clutch size for most females would be 7, fewer for younger/smaller females and more for older/larger females.
