Bearded Caging Question

uncg2005 May 12, 2004 09:10 AM

Ok what i want to find out is will it be ok to move my bearded into his larger cage now its 4X2X2 he's roughly 2 months old and about 9 inches. I'll still be feeding him crickets in a seperate tank so he won't have to chase his food all over the place. But will he have any other stress issues being moved there he's currently in a 20 gallon aquarium.

Now this is just a curiousity question. I follow the 10 minute feeding rule as far as crickets are concerned and feed him twice a day crickets that are as big as the distance between his eyes. But what im trying to figure out is he's eating anywhere from 50 to 80 crickets a day plus his salad. and when he's out he just starts stalking the cricket cage or leopard gecko's mealworms. His only thought in life is food. But how much is to much.

just feed him as much as he will eat, if you are very concerned, them trie feeding him less days of the week than every day.

Feed him everyday just as you are until he becomes an adult. Don't worry about him overeating right now as long as you are feeding healthy foods and giving good supplements. If you find he is eating a ton and isn't growing you might want to get a fecal done to rule out any parasites taking nutrients from him.

Good luck!!
