Ok, first off. In some states it is illegal to harrass, possess kill ect. rattlesnakes. I am not saying you are going to do this but just lettin u konw. I am not shure what state you are from, but there are regulations. Second... From the sound of your post, excuse me if i did not take it right is that you are not shure of habitats for the two species. If you want pictures you should research on where they live. Third, most people wont disclose den information to people. There are many good reasons behind this. If the info gets out to the wrong person, that could be the end of the snakes. Some people will go kill rattlers, others illegaly collect them, ect. And lastly, u say copperhead and timber catching. If you want to photograph them why do you have to catch them. Have you ever had any experience with venemous snakes before. Bites can hurt. Trust Me.

Second of all, Ive caught copperheads before, I know areas to look in ect and I have researched. Im looking for places that other people to prefer to keep and eye out and some good spots they have come across and what they look for.
