You should expect nothing. health and growth is the result of applied husbandry. It is directly related to your application of husbandry.
Temps are only a small part of keeping reptiles in captivity. There are many other elements in applied husbandry that can cause both physical and behavioral stresses.
Diet alone can effect this, as well as excess air movement. Even humidity, both too much or too little. Lack of usable shelters. Please do not say the word, hide. That thrashs me when someone says I gave them a hide. Monitors use a series of different secure areas that protect them from predators(anything foreign to them is a predator), excess temps and moistures. secure areas are also a place where monitors "feel" safe. That is one of the most important qualities of a good cage and husbandry, feeling safe.
The application of the above(and more) results in measurable health and growth. Its not the exsistance of a good protocal that allows health and growth, its the application of it. Successful application results in good growth, most monitors can grow up in a year. Good luck FR
