Is this a scarlet kingsnake elapasoides?
I found 2 of these under a shingle pile and brick dump deep in the woods next to a creek. Someone let me know what they are thanks--Jo

Most likely they are coastal plains milks. They have been documented from the area. Please email me as I would like to verify this and if possible collect a DNA sample for Dr. Grogan.
