You're doing everything right.. Always sanitize your hands (there IS a difference between "cleaning" and "sanitizing" - sanitizing gets rid of all the germs & bacteria, cleaning just makes it look pretty.. That's according to McDonalds lol).. anyway..
Always sanitize your hands after handling ANY animal. You've got that handled. If you didn't, you might be walking around with Salmonella all over you, get into your baby's food, and make the baby WAY sicker than you'd get from it.
Keeping your cages cleaned & spotless is also a plus - and keeping them out of reach of your child, esp. once they start crawling, standing, or even Scooting.
My daughter was raised around Leopard Geckos for most of her life.. Admittedly, I had a "reptile complex" (I wouldn't go near them), until I met a Crystal when Siobhan (my daughter) was a couple of months.. Took me a few months to fall in love with reptiles, though..
Siobhan is now 2-1/2 years old, and the reptiles have never bothered her.. I actually have to watch it, because she likes to go try to get the leos out of their cage (I have some in a 40 gallon on the floor - they stay in my bedroom). Siobhan & I both sleep in the same room with them & everything (everything meaning the worms, the hamsters, the mice, etc)
