WTF won't climb

I got my WTF about 2 months ago and it has a 30 gallon tank with cocanut substrate, two branchs, water dish, and hideout but it has never climed on the branchs or try to go up the glass sides of the tank. Is this normal? And it has been eating and pretty active at night.
