Babies running?

Is it normal for babie beardies to run away and try to escape every chance they get, when you try to pick them up? How long does it take to out grow this, i usually try to handle 10 minutes per day.

It can take a few months more or less depending on the BD
the more often you hold him, the sooner he will calm down. make sure he is holding you not you holding him.
