egg question

Ok...I've got alittle mold around the edges of my vermiculite in the sweater box...All the eggs look great still but is this something to worry about?

ive read that you can sprinkle some athletes powder on the mold
if it works or not im not sure but i wouldnt sprinkle any on the eggs themselves well maybe a test egg if it had mold on it

If the mold is just on the vermiculite I wouldn't worry about it too much. Next time just use the tip that Liddy Kammer told me, microwave the vermiculite for a few minutes to sterilize it and kill off any spores and then let it cool before using it for eggs. Hope this helps some
