I have a good gutload for my mealworms. I was just wondering what the best thing is to use as moisture. The only things I have right now are an avacado, a lemon, and a lime. Which would be best?

not sure, i've been using lime for awhile and it works the best. I would say probably not an avocado.

Really, I was thinking the avacado would be best. They are so high in good fat, and I have little babies who need some fatening up. Are there any fruits and veggies that you know of that are toxic for leos? I know you are not supposed to feed dogs grapes, onions, rubarb... because they are all toxic for them.

I don't know, I was just thinking the avocado wouldn't last too long, and I don't know how mealworms would go after it, I'm sure it would work though. There aren't any fruits or veggies that i think are bad for leos, but I'm sure too much of certain vitamins or minerals could hurt them, just a guess though.

I use carrots cause they don't mold. Occationally i'll put in a potato and the scraps from when we make up a salad but for the most part i use those small carrots

very very nice!!!...blizzies are soo perfect...too bad their temperaments are kinda unstable...i thot outcrossing would make them more mild...but mine are devils...well one of them are...

Yes Nala is very dark, almost comparable to Lily my patternless. I'll try to get some pics of them together and i'd like to see people pic out the blizzard from the patternless.....they are very alike...but i know that Nala is in fact a blizzard. She was very very white when she was a baby and has darkened up as she aged. Not that i mind at all. she's still a beauty for sure!!!

I just took some pics.......go figure i'm typing about them and they both come out. Not sure how thepics will turn out but i'll see about getting them developed soon.

Nala is a sweety but Bronx is downright mean. I put in a new large water bottle bowl for him today and he spent most of the time trying to bite me. I love them both but wow what a difference in personality.

I put in a slice of lime and a slice of avocado. They have eaten almost all of the avocado.
