Would a Red or Yellow Ackie Monitor be able to stay along in a 29 gallon aquarium?

A 29 gallon would suffice for a hatchling for awhile, but would be too small for an adult. A good size for adults is 48x24x24, which gives you both the length and height but depth for your substrate. I think the troughs are a great idea if you have the area to put them in. Good luck!
