i just saved a garter from my dog a few minutes ago, it doesnt seem injured or anything but i took it in just in case. its very calm about being handled and is quite curious about its new surroundings. it has a red stripe down its back and two dull white stripes on the side and a few red spots on a glossy gray belly. its about 8 inches long. tomorrow i will try to feed it some worms, slugs and some crickets and see if it goes for it and i will post some pics of it soon.
