DFR and the pool

eunectes4 May 12, 2004 07:51 PM

I was refering to a snake in a private swimming pool...like my parents home while chlorine levels are lower. Would a younger snake be "safe" in such a setting? I would never take a snake into pond water...remember...I make myself dumber on here to get questions answered

` I was putting that out there for everyone looking in. Myself, I get dumber as the evening progresses.
` With little snakes, you've really got to watch out for orifices they can get into, like ladders made of pipe, and all the filter pipes, of course.
` One time, my big male got his belly scutes irritated from climbing in and out over the rough concrete decking. It wasn't a big problem, but it could have been, as I didn't realize it until the next day.
` Here's a snake who only likes to get his lips wet. He'll watch the water snakes, but that's as far as he'll go.

I like that pic. I guess what I was talking about is, would chemical levels be too harmfull to a smaller animal I am kind of worried to take a 4 foot anaconda into a pool with chlorine. I know a guy who has a pool for his 15 foot anaconda and I would think their tolerance for chemicals would be greater than small ones. Like I can drink a bottle of tequila with no problem but Eric and arik can only drink a little whisky before they are gone ; )

Anytime you want to see the underside of a table eunectes we can go shot for shot. Tequila whaiskey whatever.lol I like petron tequila.
I just seen on tv that Paul Mitchell (the hair care guy) bought petron tequila company and is the new owner. Just a little useless fact.
Anyone seen the preview for "Pyhton vs. Boa" on sci-fi channel? Looks like another stupid one.
