why buy a python and then throw it away? Why did you buy it even though you were perfectly aware of its needs? CB retics are tame. If you're complaining about one bite and crying over that and throw your python away, you should just leave the hobby buddy. I appreciate your previous advice.. but... if you're not going to like it or take care of it don't deplete the precious CB retic supply, especially a cool-looking tiger like yours. Geez...

You are a complete moron. He is not going to throw his snake away. He was making a statement about no matter what someone asks they never listen to the suggested answer and they are predetermined to do what they want even before they asked the question. When people like himself and myself respond and give open and honast and good advice we get slammed by others and piss people off so to simplify things he basically has given up on you and announced it by making the post that he did. Think about, Todd

Hey bball, That was kinda stupid you thinking that he was realy going to release a snake like that. Just think of the resale value those things have if not that it is living thing as important to the world as you or I.

Anyway the real reason for this post is that I am am 23. Probably much younger than most of the guys here. I had a bp for about 10 years and got a burm 1 year ago. Just today I got a real life experience of how a hungry burm will act around food. I opened the cage to remove him cause I feed in the bathroom for now. When I opened that cage he was out and chased me into the bathroom. Nothing too scarry but it made me think of how that would be if he was 20 feet you know. I fully respect these animals and I have learned tons from this forum. I can say that I will probly never own a retic cause I don't have support from friends or anyone to help me. Maybe you will take this from a young(er) guy like myself here and get an anole or something. Better yet find someone here with a nice 10 ft retic, go to they're house and rub a rat on your hand and stick it in there. Multiply that bloody throbing feeling by 20 and you will know why a retic is not right for you right now at least.

With all do respect fellow herper.
