Trolly May 12, 2004 08:54 PM

My baby eats everything i give her, crickets, pinkies, I tried turkey but after i cooked it she didn't want it?? she's got a big belly,I know that they can get over weight when they are adult, but do i have to worry about overfeeding a baby,i give her 2 pinkies every 2 or 3 days, and she has crickets all the time, should i not give her soo much????

I would not worry about over feeding a baby. I feed My babies every day, but when feeding meat (i.e. turkey) I feed it raw with supplements.

to your monitor anyway, use bone meal from a health store like GNC or try and find it online. It sells for less than 10 bucks. Just make sure its for humans. Its suppose to be a great source of calcium and mixed with centrum of the precise measurements per pound of lean turkey, is what the SDZ quote on quote says is equivalent to a mouse. So in my oppinion why not just stick with mice and crickets. Also as far as feeding your baby monitor, everyday would be and ideal schuedule for the first 10 months or so and then twice a week thereafter. As long as your temps and other husbandry technics are close to being accurate i cant see you having a problem with obesity. Jaye
