Help on background for Tank

Collaredkeeper May 12, 2004 10:46 PM

Hey,
I was wondering what type of background should I can get. I know it can relieve the stress of my collareds, but yet again I cant find anything. I was thinking of doing a fake rock backdrop, but it is said that if not done right, there an extreme pain. Also, I'm not sure if I can clean it. Maybe a paper type one, but my tank is over 2 feet high and many pet stores around here dont supply that tall of a background (dont want to put two together cause it'll look tacky). Maybe I should get all cork background. I am not sure.
Thanks,
Collaredkeeper

what about fabric from a fabric store? they usually have someone there who can cut it to specific size and they will have all kinds of colors and whatnot. just a thought

but the fabric would have to be on the outside of the tank unless you want to wash it in the machine.

I've got a 250 gal tank and this is the only place I found that carries a (only one) background that's not water-related and was big enough (30" for my tank. Check it out.
