Will my dragon develop eggs...more

repzoo44 May 12, 2004 10:52 PM

even if she hasnt bred to anyone? I wasnt sure if she was like my chameleon or not. She has been acting kind of strange lately with her feeding habits. She has pretty much quit eating greens and the pellets and will only eat a couple of crickets or mealworms now. Cant figure out whats going on. Thanks for your help.

dragons can lay infertile eggs. However, from what you told us, very difficult to know if that is the problem with your dragon. Lack of appetite is a sympton for several things. Has her weight increased alot lately? If you hold her in your hands and gently feel her belly, can you feel any lumps? Is her poo smelly or runny? How is her behaviour? Is she very lathargic, running around frantically digging at the substract? More information will make it easier to determine if she is gravid, or suffering from something else.
