worms in tank

yellowboy May 13, 2004 12:50 PM

i have hundreds of tiny worms in my tank...they are white thin and swim occasionally but mostly climb on the glass....about 1/2 cm long....anyone know what they are? is copper treatment safe for turtles to rid the water of the worms?

The worms you are describing are harmless. DO NOT copper the tank. Just take a sponge algae remove and swipe them off the glass. You can try putting some small fish in too (like guppies or an algae eater) and they may make short work of them until the turtle eats them.
