Help - Eggs Hatching!!

gerri May 13, 2004 01:33 PM

I have box turtle eggs. I have never done this before please help. I have been incubating several eggs now and two are trying to get out right now. One egg cracked two weeks ago and not knowing what was going on I did nothing and I just checked that egg and the baby turtle died. Could I have done anything? I dont want these two little guys to die too. Should I help or just let nature take its course. They are in vermiculite in a critter keeper. Any advise will be so helpful.
Thank you
Gerri

It's best to let them hatch out on their own.
