I was wondering about laws concerning these little fellows. I know they are protected in certain states, but have been unable to find any information as to whether or not they are included in any CITES/Appendices(spelling?). All I have been able to find is that they were rejected from being included in Appendix II in 2000.
Are there permits required to keep these? Does that only apply to certain states? Do you need permits to breed and/or sell babies?

Any information would be wonderful- any websites would be great.
Thank you!

Keeping and Breeding these guys relies solely on your state laws.
