i would use 2x2's for the frame and screen ,wire mesh everywhere else but do not i repeat do not use any pressure treated, wolmanized wood whatsoever! it has harmful chemicals that will severely harm your cham if not kill it
I would suggest that you paint the wood, or that you use some water sealer on it (it should at least protect it for a year).
I built custom enclosures on the side. I use 1x2's or 1x3 from Home depot. They are like 2.89 for 6'. They are already finished off (sanding), all you have to do is paint. I would use a semi- to gloss paint, it makes it easier to clean weekly, and repels water and dirt decent.
If you use the PVC -coated 1/2" x 1" wire, you can just cut the sides out and attach them with industrial zip-ties or steel clips. You can use bolt cutters to cut the wire. You don't even need to mess with wood or paint at all. Then you just make a door, or doors, whatever size you want on one of the sides. That's how my cage is built and it took me all of 1 hour to put it together. It's as solid as a rock, too.
