anyone ever use sandworms? Is there ayway to find out nutrional content on these things?
The bait shop down the street has tons of other things I might try for feeders, but I don't know how to choose from everything.

If you are talking about what I think you are, I wouldn't use them. The come from either the ocean or brackish water and look a lot like a centipede. Very strange animals! They have jaws that you normally can't see, and they evert them to bite--it looks a lot like tarantula fangs that move like the centipedes front legs/pincers, and they do bite/pinch pretty bad. They are carnivorous, and I don't know what the salt content of them would be or how that would effect your animals.
Here is a picture of a similar species. If this is the one you are talking about, don't use them.

What's really interesting is the way they reproduce. They swim so that they are suspended in the water. Then they undulate faster and faster until they EXPLODE ! This ruptures their bodies, and eggs and sperm are then released into the water to be externally fertilized.---What a way to go!
